CONCORDIA TO HOLD CAMPUS CENTER DEDICATION

Concordia College will hold a Campus Center Dedication Ceremony at approximately 11:45 a.m. following the All-Campus Worship during Homecoming week’s festivities Sunday, Oct. 12. The event will take place in the atrium of the Knutson Campus Center. Music by the Concordia Drum Group and the Concordia College Tuba-Euphonium Quartet will accompany a welcome message by President Pamela M. Jolicoeur with a reception to follow in the atrium.
The public is invited to the ceremony and reception and encouraged to take a tour of the new facility. Construction began on the campus center in the fall of 2005 and the new addition was completed in the fall of 2007. The entire Knutson Campus Center including remodeling of the original section was completed in September. The center was named in honor of Joseph Knutson, the seventh president of Concordia (1951-1975), and originally opened in 1960.
Concordia College is a four-year liberal arts college of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America offering 78 majors, including 18 honors majors, and 12 preprofessional programs.
