Special Opportunities
The computer science department also awards many opportunities to study outside the classroom. Concordia’s
Cooperative Education program helps students find internships at distinguished companies such as
IBM,
Mayo Clinic,
Microsoft Business Solutions and
DuPont.
The department also funds 15 computer consulting positions on campus and numerous work study positions are also available on campus.
Computer Services is one of the largest employers at Concordia. Working for Computer Services is an excellent way to make practical use of the skills you develop in the classroom.
The computer science department sponsors an honors program for exceptional students, as well as a student chapter of the
Association of Computer Machinery (ACM)
