Why Study Business at Concordia?

With a degree in one of Concordia’s nine BAE majors you will have the unique opportunity to study with professors who have significant experience working in the field. Our faculty make extensive use of simulations, casework and teamwork projects to examine the exciting business world. This emphasis on practical preparation extends well outside the classroom. It also can be of considerable value for students with another major, in a discipline such as art, communication, math, biology or psychology.

Business majors have helped local residents prepare their income taxes and interned at major corporations such as Bobcat and Hormel. There are also many opportunities for business majors to study abroad. Our students have traveled to Germany on Exploration Seminars to study the role of cost accounting in international businesses at leading corporations like Mercedes and Porsche. The international business program sponsors semester-long study and work opportunities in various English-speaking countries. Or, students with language proficiency can study in Spain, Mexico, Germany and France. As a BAE major, your liberal arts education combined with lessons from dedicated faculty inside and outside the classroom will prepare you for success.
